What is an internship?

An internship is a short-term professional learning experience that we at the Healing Centre offer to help people, usually students or recent graduates. Here you will gain practical work experience related to your career interests in psychology and mental well-being.

Our internship provides learning experiences related to the interests of a student or an area of study, which allows you to acquire new skills. During your internship with us, you will have the opportunity to: 

1. Observe speech, behaviour, occupational and group therapy sessions. 

2. Participate in various centre activities. 

3. Work on ongoing centre projects. 

4. Gain exposure to multidisciplinary approaches within a real clinical setting.

At The Healing Centre, we are committed to developing talent and providing valuable learning experiences through our internship program. We believe in the importance of nurturing the next generation of professionals and offering hands-on opportunities in a real-world setting as well as reversed mentoring where we can get an opportunity to learn. While we are enthusiastic about offering such opportunities, it's important to note that we have a standardized process for handling internship applications.

We at The Healing Centre offer a 180-hour program, which is flexible and can be adjusted to suit your schedule.
